நத்தத்தில் நுாற்றுக்கும் மேற்பட்ட ரெடிமேட் சட்டை உற்பத்தி செய்யும் சிறு, குறு நிறுவனங்கள் உள்ளன. 20 க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கிராமங்களை சேர்ந்த 3 ஆயிரம் தொழிலாளர்கள் வேலைவாய்ப்பு பெற்று வருகின்றனர். இங்கு உற்பத்தியாகும் சட்டைகள் தமிழகம் மட்டுமின்றி கர்நாடகா, கேரளாவுக்கும் அனுப்பி வைக்கப்படுகிறது. இங்குள்ள கடை முதலாளிகள்கூட 50% உழைப்பாளிகள்தான்.

அப்பப்ப வர்ற ‘டிரண்ட்’டுக்கு ஏத்த மாதிரி பல சட்டைகளையும் இங்கே தைக்கிறார்கள். பிரபலமான பிராண்ட் தயாரிப்புகளுக்கு நிகராக, ஆனால் குறைவான விலையில் தருவதே இந்த ஊரின் தனிச் சிறப்பு.
